  • Alan Kuo: Over three years ago, this cancer researcher at UCSF received a bone marrow transplant after being diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML).  Read his latest news as he goes for full recovery.

  • Miracle for Jimby: A 40-year-old Filipino-American from New Jersey, Jimby McIlvaine is going through the biggest battle in his life, for his life.  He was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) and is still in search of his life-saving donor.

  • Zak Rossbach:  Zak was adopted from Thailand as a five-year-old and was diagnosed in June 1997 with Severe Aplastic Anemia (SAA). He had a BMT in September, 1998 from a donor of South Asian descent and is doing very well.

  • Kyle Wu was born in 1987 and lived in Michigan. He was diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) in 1997 and underwent an unrelated bone marrow transplant at University of Minnesota Bone Marrow Transplant Program in October, 1998.  However, he passed away from complications in November 22, 1999.

  • The Anissa Foundation: Anissa Ayala received a life-saving bone marrow transplant from her sister Marisa Ayala about a decade ago.
